A NEW LIGHT SHINES IN THE CANTERBURY COMMUNITY
The Canterbury community will benefit from recent amalgamations between Central Coast based club, Mingara and both Roselands Bowling Club and Punchbowl Ex-Services Club.
Following years of financial uncertainty, a new light will shine for Roselands Bowling Club with its future being secured after amalgamation with Mingara in May 2009.
The members from Punchbowl Ex-Services Club will also look forward to a bright future with a new home at the Roselands site, following its amalgamation with Mingara in June 2009.
Members of both clubs will combine and can look forward to new products and services at the Roselands site, including a new bistro (run by the operators from Punchbowl's Broadway Brasserie), a new outdoor entertainment terrace, refurbished interior, a new courtesy bus, live entertainment, promotions, prizes and a dedicated area for sporting and community groups.
